| If you have
Type 2 Diabetes, your body either makes too little insulin,
or your body is resistant to insulin. In Type 1 diabetes,
there is no production of insulin. Insufficiency of
insulin or insensitivity of cells to insulin (insulin
resistance) results in persistent high levels of blood
glucose, poor protein synthesis. Insulin helps you to
recover from symptoms associated with diabetes such
as blurred vision and mental confusion.
