Matthew Erick
Chief Commercial Officer – Advanced Markets, Biocon
Matthew Erick is the chief commercial officer (CCO) for Advanced Markets, responsible for driving the commercial strategy and sales for Biocon in North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Matt has more than two decades of experience in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry in the U.S., with a demonstrated track record of strategic planning, driving business growth and profitability, leading commercial operations, managing large teams and developing a collaborative work culture.
Matt served as the CCO of Biocon Biologics between January 2022 and March 2026.
Prior to joining Biocon Biologics, he held various commercial and executive leadership roles within the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry in the U.S. Matt worked with Mylan (Viatris) for 10 years, leading Sales and Marketing as the company’s President of North America. He worked in various roles at Cardinal Health. He also led MedVet, a specialty veterinary hospital chain, as their President.
Currently, Matt is an Executive Board Member for the Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM).
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Capital University.
