Upstream facility and pilot plant area has fermenters with clean room facilities to support strain development, cell bank, biotransformation and bio-catalysis. We also have dedicated facilities for culture preservation, enzyme screening, clone selection, enzyme assay development and biotransformation activities.
Downstream facility is equipped with various unit operations like continuous extraction, low-pressure chromatography, high-pressure chromatography, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, vacuum tray drying, lyophilization and reactors.
Synthetic chemistry facility can handle multi-step synthesis, complex chiral chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, carbohydrate synthesis, microwave assisted synthesis and studies including DOE, Qbd, solid state, particle size, technology transfer and scale up studies. We also have a dedicated laboratory for hydrogenation experiments with several autoclaves.
Peptide synthesis with purification facility has multiple automated solid phase peptide synthesizers, parallel synthesizer, microwave assisted solid phase synthesizer with capabilities for process development of peptides by solution phase, solid phase and hybrid approaches. The peptide purification facility is equipped with unit operations like low-pressure chromatography, high-pressure chromatography, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and lyophilization.
Dedicated facility with isolators which can handle products of Occupational exposure limits up to 0.1 microgram/m3 with ability for online analysis of samples.
Dedicated analytical R&D facility is equipped with routine and high-end equipment like HPLCs, UPLCs, GCs, GCMS, IC, CEs with segregated areas for GCs and wet analysis. Advanced techniques like HRMS, LCMS, cIEF, CD, Sec-MALS are available for characterisation of peptides, polymers and complex APIs. The solid state characterisation laboratory is equipped with equipment like particle size analyzers, DSC, DVS, TGA, variable temperature and humidity XRD, IR, Raman and NIR.
