Chief Commercial Officer – Advanced Markets

Matthew Erick is the Chief Commercial Officer – Advanced Markets and is based in the U.S.

Matt, who joined Biocon Biologics in 2022, is responsible for driving the commercial strategy and sales for Biocon Biologics in the advanced markets of North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Matt will be working closely with partners in these markets to promote Biocon Biologics’ product portfolio and will also lead the ‘go to market’ strategy for the Company.

Matt has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry in the U.S., with a demonstrated track record of strategic planning, driving business growth and profitability, leading commercial operations, managing large teams and developing a collaborative work culture.

Before joining Biocon Biologics, he held various commercial and executive leadership roles at MedVet, Viatris, Cardinal Health in the U.S. Matt worked with Mylan (Viatris) for 10 years, leading Sales & Marketing as President – North America. He worked in various roles at Cardinal Health. He also led MedVet, a specialty veterinary hospital chain, as their President.

Matthew holds Bachelors’ degrees in both Pharmacy and Biology.
