Global Head – Supply Chain Management

Stephen Fecho is the Global Head – Supply Chain Management at Biocon Biologics and is responsible for Planning, Procurement, External Manufacturing, Logistics and Distribution across all geographies.

Stephen joined Biocon in 2022 and is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of driving global business performance and leading organizations through transformative change. He brings exceptional vision and leadership skills to optimize our supply chain operations and deliver outstanding results.

Stephen’s extensive professional experience includes key leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. As Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations at Alvogen Pharmaceuticals, he achieved remarkable improvements in customer service levels, reducing Failure to Supply penalties while attaining a 98% customer service level.  His past experience extends to Teva Pharmaceuticals and Merck & Co., Inc., where he successfully transformed S&OP processes, optimized demand planning, and implemented strategic sourcing initiatives. Stephen’s exceptional performance in global procurement resulted in substantial cost savings and the development of strong supplier relationships.

Stephen holds an MBA and Master’s degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.  He has received industry accolades, including the Merck Senior Vice President ‘Footprint’ Award for outstanding leadership and exceptional dedication.
