Arun Gupta
Head of Operations
Mr. Arun Gupta is Head of Operations at Biocon Ltd.
He joined Biocon in April 2023 and is responsible for Manufacturing, Projects, MSAT and EHS for our Generics Business.
Arun is a seasoned professional with 30 years of diversified experience in chemical and pharmaceutical industries. His experience covers diverse API manufacturing platforms, productivity improvement projects, mechanisation, automation, operational excellence, capacity management and cost improvement programs.
He previously worked with Viatris, where he was the Global Head of API Manufacturing, prior to which he had tenures with Dr Reddy’s, Ranbaxy, and Lupin.
Arun has a specialization in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
